Where are you based?
I’m based in northern Germany, in Lubeck (near Hamburg)

How many years have you been a photographer?
I have been working as a photographer since 2002.

What do you like most about being a photographer?
I love the variety of my job and the people I get to interact with.

Do you ever shoot with a film camera?
Yes, for many years. I also developed film and prints for myself.

What is your favorite vacation destination?
I love the mountains, especially the dolomites.

When did you know you wanted to be a photographer?
After finishing my studies to become a teacher I decided to make my former hobby my job. I have never regretted this decision because I love my job. I love Mondays when it is time to go back to work! 😉

What is your first memory of picking up a camera with serious intent?
Making photos for my grandmother from the people I talk about and she didn’t know.

What is your favorite aspect of portrait photography?
Beauty shots.

When you are not creating portraits for work, what kind of photography do you enjoy?
I enjoy taking aerial shots with a drone.
