Family Sessions
SCHEDULING POLICIES
To achieve our goal of providing world-class portraiture, it is essential for us to provide adequate time and attention to your Gittings session. We understand, however, that sometimes circumstances arise, and plans need to be adjusted. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request a minimum of 48 hours‘ notice.
SESSION FEES
In-Studio Portrait Sessions are $300. On-Location Portrait Sessions are $500. Fees are paid in advance. Gift Certificates and other special circumstances may also require session fees or deposits.
LATE POLICY
Often, Gittings Photographers are scheduled with sessions reserved closely together. Although this ensures clients receive their preferred session dates, it does require timeliness.
If you will be 15 minutes or more late for your session, please call our studio to speak to a team member regarding options. We will try to accommodate whenever possible but may need to reschedule your session in order to respect the time of our Photographers and other clients.
If we are not notified that you will be late, your session may be cancelled, wherein the Cancellation Policy for the session type will apply.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
We understand our clients are very busy and work, family and other unforeseen events can arise unexpectedly. To accommodate this, we are happy to reschedule your appointment up to 2 times. A third attempt at rescheduling will be considered a cancellation, and the Cancellation Policy will apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations or missed appointments without 48 hour notice will result in the forfeiture of your session fee or deposit.
Please understand that your portrait session time was set aside just for you and since sessions are often booked far in advance, we are not always able to schedule another portrait session for your reserved Photographer’s time.
If you need to cancel due to a personal or medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible, and we can decide how best to proceed on a case-by-case basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY
When a scheduled Photographer is cancelled within 48 hours of session, clients will be billed 50% of the minimum billing for the time reserved, plus any non-refundable expenses, such as travel.
If a scheduled Photographer is cancelled within 24 hours of the session, the client will be billed the total minimum billing for the time reserved, plus any non-refundable expenses, such as travel.
Gift Certificates

PARK PLACE GIFT CERTIFICATE RESERVATION POLICY
We’ve welcomed a record number of Park Place clients this year, and it’s been an honor to be chosen by so many families through this exclusive gift experience. With that popularity, however, we’ve also seen a rise in families needing to reschedule multiple times or missing appointments. This has made it more difficult to accommodate other clients who are ready and waiting to schedule.
To help manage this demand while maintaining the high level of care and attention we’re known for, all Park Place gift certificate validations require a fully refundable reservation deposit:

$300 for studio sessions

$500 for on-location sessions
This deposit is fully refundable at your portrait screening appointment or may be applied toward any order beyond what is included in your gift certificate. If no order is placed beyond the included portrait, the full amount will be refunded after your screening.
This policy helps us honor the time set aside for each client and ensures that high-demand time slots remain available for those ready to reserve them.
LOCATION DEPOSIT
Our Studio Gift Certificates fully cover a $300 studio session. If you choose to enhance your experience with an on-location session, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit is used to cover the photographer’s time and travel expenses.
As a courtesy, should you decide to place an order beyond the portrait included in your gift certificate, this $200 deposit can be applied toward that specific order. Please note, the deposit is dedicated to this session and cannot be transferred to future or past sessions or orders.
