The Process for Quality and Consistency

At Gittings, our global team of photographers follows a detailed, trusted end-to-end process designed to deliver high-quality and consistent Portraits and Custom Photo Libraries. Partnering with Gittings helps alleviate the stress and inefficiencies associated with a multiple-office photography project. Each firm is assigned a dedicated Project Manager who is responsible for all communication and coordination of project details. You’ll have a single point of contact throughout the entire scope, but our global team works together to go above and beyond your expectations.

PLANNING PHASE

PROJECT PHASE

Gittings is proud to offer one of the only online scheduling platforms in the industry. Your professionals will be able to select a 15-minute window that best fits their schedule.

POST PHASE

Gittings digitally archives and does backups of all projects. In fact, we have preserved and maintained 90 years of history in our photo library.

1 – PLANNING PHASE

After studying your website, image design concept, and reviewing your office layout, the Gittings team sets up a pilot photography session to help our clients see how these branding elements translate into photography. Based on the approved look achieved during your pilot session, Gittings documents the ideal lens choice, lighting position, subject posing and positioning, framing, and cropping required to deliver a high-quality look that’s consistent across all of your office locations.

All clients are assigned a dedicated Project Manager (PM) who is responsible for managing the communication, timeline, and logistics for every photo shoot across all locations. The PM works with each office location to determine the best possible timeframe to photograph your professionals.

We also take into consideration sunrise/sunset times for your various office locations when proposing a schedule to make the most of natural lighting.

2 – Project Phase

Gittings is proud to offer one of the only online scheduling platforms in the industry.

For accounting, consulting, and legal portraits, your professionals will be able to select a 15-minute window that best fits their schedule.

Admins will be able to reschedule or change appointment times if client work comes up and interferes with the initial portrait appointment. Additionally, prior to the appointment, the platform will email a reminder and provide information on how to prepare for the photo shoot. Our system also serves as a single point-of-entry for our primary client contacts to see who has or has not scheduled an appointment, allowing for follow-ups if needed. Gittings manages all photography sessions across all firm office locations. This includes remote monitoring and quality checks at multiple points throughout the process to ensure the portraits and other photography aligns with the standards set during the Planning Phase.

During each session, our photographers go the extra mile by helping to straighten ties, smooth wrinkles in clothing, or add light makeup to ensure every professional looks their best. Our photographers will also take a few test shots of every person to see what their preference is before moving forward with the photoshoot.

Project Status Reports

Gittings uses a secure cloud-based tool to catalog photos in real-time. Your dedicated PM will update you with status reports as a way to provide peace of mind that schedules are adhered to and high-quality portraits are obtained.

3 – Post Phase

Gittings digitally archives and does backups of all projects. In fact, we have preserved and maintained 90 years of history in our photo library.

Portrait Retouching

As each professional finishes their portrait session, our photographer allows him or her to select favorite images and provide feedback. Any necessary retouching is noted and communicated directly to our Digital Team.

Final Digital Images

Each final portrait is cropped to the various sizes identified during the Planning Phase. This typically includes the images required for your website bio section, LinkedIn profile photos, and firm press kits. We also follow the file formatting and file naming convention that works best for your firm and optimize images for SEO and website performance. Gittings then provides secure access through our cloud-based Client Portal.
