Each portrait begins with a carefully crafted print made to exacting specifications. The finest state-of-the-art materials are aesthetically embellished by skilled artisans and craftsmen. The final treatment permanently bonds the portrait to a fine canvas. A crystal clear lacquer is applied to protect the portrait and to enhance the depth of color.
Final portraits can be presented in a variety of sizes and custom, quality finishes. Gittings is also available to frame your portraits in a selection of museum-quality frames.

Delivery of the final portraits is not the end of the process for Gittings. We archive each final image we capture. Our clients know that, in the event of theft or other catastrophic loss, the documentation of their family’s history is not lost with it. It is safe and secure, with multiple back up alternatives, by Gittings. We are pleased to say we have replaced destroyed portraits, restored faded 60-year-old images, and have brought black and white images to color.
