Design Consultation
Get to know your Gittings Photographer in person and collaboratively plan your portrait session.
Portrait Session
Whether on location or in studio, your Gittings Photographer will use their expertise to capture you at your best.
Portrait Screening
Enjoy an in studio, theater-style viewing of your session to select your favorite images and design your custom portraits, framing, and albums
Your Investment
During your Portrait Screening appointment, your Portrait Consultant will work with you to design the perfect portraits for your home and family, including custom framing options*, wall galleries, album design, and more!
Extraordinary craftsmanship takes time, so expect your Gittings portraits to be completed in 4+ weeks, depending on the product and custom frame availability
Purchase a frame and receive complimentary local delivery and installation services*.

Gittings 2026 Holiday Collection
For holiday sessions scheduled November 6 to 8 or November 20 to 22, choose from four holiday themes. A portion of every session fee supports the Junior League of Dallas or the Junior League of Fort Worth.
Sessions are held on these two weekends only. To arrive in time for the holidays, orders must be placed by December 2nd.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are images included in the session fee?
No. The session fee covers your photography session. Images and portraits are selected and purchased separately at your Portrait Screening.
When do I pay my session fee?
Session fees are paid when you reserve your session. The fee depends on whether your session is in studio or on location and must be paid in full to hold your date and time.Â
How long until my portraits are ready?
Finished portraits are typically completed in 4+ weeks, depending on the product and any custom framing.
How does framing and installation work?
All portraits are sold unframed, and frames are selected separately. When you choose a frame through Gittings, local delivery and installation are complimentary, subject to installer availability.
What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. A cancellation or missed appointment without 48 hours’ notice results in forfeiture of the session fee, since your time is reserved for you alone and is often scheduled well in advance. If a personal or medical emergency arises, please contact us as soon as you can and we will do our best to work with you.
What happens if I'm running late?
Our photographers are often scheduled closely together, so please call the studio if you will be 15 minutes or more late. We will accommodate you whenever we can, though we may need to adjust or reschedule to respect our photographers and other clients.
