Jan earned her BBA in Accounting at Southwest Texas State University and spent eight years in accounting in the oil and gas and insurance industries. She spent a number of years in part-time accounting work for small businesses while her three daughters were young. In 1998, she joined the Gittings team as the company accountant.
As the company has grown, Jan’s duties have expanded beyond her accounting and payroll duties to include portions of human resources and other areas of corporate administration.
Outside of work, Jan enjoys travel, hiking, reading, sewing, and time with her grandchildren.
