Design Consultation
Before your session, you’ll meet with your photographer to plan every detail. From where your portrait will hang to wardrobe, groupings, and overall mood, this is where your vision takes shape.

Portrait Session
Your session is a relaxed, guided experience in studio or at the location of your choosing. Your photographer brings the plan to life, working with you to capture something that feels true to who you are.

Screening and Selection
At a separate in-studio appointment, you’ll view your finished portraits with a Portrait Consultant who helps you select the right pieces for your home. This is where you choose sizes, framing, and products, and where your order is placed.

Do I need to schedule my session now?
Not at all. Simply validate your certificate using the form above and we’ll reach out within one business day to walk through next steps together. We want the timing to feel right for your family.
Can I include my family in the portrait session?
Absolutely. Your gift certificate covers a portrait experience whether that’s an individual, a couple, or your entire family. Let us know who’ll be joining you when we connect, so we can plan the session accordingly.
What appointments do I need to schedule?
There are three appointments in your experience: your Design Consultation, your Portrait Session, and your private Screening & Selection appointment.
What is a design consultation?
Your Design Consultation is a dedicated conversation with one of our portrait specialists before your session. We’ll discuss your family’s personality, wardrobe, the style direction you’re drawn to, and how you envision displaying your portrait in your home.
My gift certificate includes a Studio Session. Can I upgrade to a Location Session?
Yes. Simply select your preferred session type when you place your reservation deposit. For studio sessions, the deposit is $300; for on-location sessions, it is $500. Both deposits are fully refundable at your portrait screening appointment or can be applied toward any order beyond what is included in your gift certificate. Whether you choose studio or location, your gift certificate still covers a full portrait experience.
Can I purchase a larger portrait than the one included with my gift certificate?
How long until we see our images?
Your private Screening appointment is typically scheduled at our studio within a few weeks of your session. We’ll walk you through your images, side by side, displayed in our theater style screening room together. This is one of our favorite moments to share with families.
Is there a cost beyond the gift certificate?
Additional portraits, sizes, or wall collections are available for purchase at your Screening appointment, but there is never any obligation to spend beyond what your certificate covers.
What if we need to reschedule?
Running late?
If you’re going to be 15 minutes or more behind, give us a call and we’ll do our best to work with you.
Need to reschedule?
We understand our clients are very busy and work, family and other unforeseen events can arise unexpectedly. To accommodate this, we are happy to reschedule your appointment once.
Need to cancel?
Cancellations or missed appointments without 48 hour notice will be charged a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the normal session fee for the session type. ($150 for studio sessions and $250 for location sessions)
Please understand that your portrait session time was set aside just for you and since sessions are often booked far in advance, we are not always able to schedule another portrait session for your reserved Photographer’s time.
