The Gittings Dallas studio has a long history of partnerships in the Dallas area. This past month, the Gittings Dallas studio participated in three local events that benefitted a range of causes that included both mental health and contributing to the Dallas arts organizations. A Gittings Portrait is an heirloom that will last a lifetime, and by partnering with such amazing organizations, we can leave a lasting legacy beyond photography.
We were honored to participate in the following Dallas events over the past month: A Beacon of Hope Luncheon, TACA Silver Award Luncheon and the East-West Ministries Celebrating 25 Years.
A Beacon of Hope Luncheon
On March 6th, Gittings attended the Grant Halliburton Foundation’s A Beacon of Hope Luncheon. The Foundation promotes mental health in young people. Gittings was asked to photograph the three honorees and create displays for each of them. The 2018 Beacon of Hope Luncheon honored Dr. Michelle Kinder, Dr. Brenda Richardson Rowe, and Dr. Madhukar Trivedi.
TACA Silver Cup Award Luncheon
On March 20th, Gittings attended the TACA Silver Cup Award Luncheon. Celebrated annually, the TACA Silver Cup Award Luncheon recognizes two individuals for their outstanding volunteer leadership and contributions to the arts in North Texas. Gittings had the privilege of photographing the 2018 honorees: Julie Hersh and Don Stone.
Proceeds from the event went towards TACA’s grant funds and innovative services provided to North Texas’ most creative and engaging arts organizations.
The East-West Ministries Celebrating 25 Years
This past month, Gittings sponsored a table at the 25th anniversary of East-West. East-West has one consuming passion—to make God known among every nation, every tribe, every tongue, and every people. The Gittings Dallas studio was honored to take part in such a special anniversary and enjoyed hearing Pop Christian Singer, Phil Whickham perform at the event.
