Gittings Houston looks forward to the Women of Distinction celebration each year. This year’s prestigious event will be benefitting the Chron’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
Our Houston studio has been commissioned to create portraits of the 11 esteemed women who will be recognized at the 32nd annual Winter Ball on January 19, 2019, at the Hilton Americas-Houston hotel.
We are grateful to continue this relationship with the Houston Women of Distinction as the exclusive portrait house since 1998.
Gittings to Create Portraits of These Community Leaders
This year’s Houston Women of Distinction were revealed at a fashionable gathering at Tootsie’s on September 20. The list of distinguished women includes:

These Houston society leaders were introduced by prominent ABC 13 TV news anchor Gina Gaston. They were supported by former Women of Distinction honorees who now serve as chairwomen of the 2019 Winter Ball: Cyndy Garza Roberts, Dr. Sippi Khurana, and Shawntell McWilliams.
The gathering was a break from the norm of polite applause. As covered by Paper City, the distinguished women received resounding cheers when they were introduced on the stage — a well-deserved honor for their accomplishments advancing our community.
